Normally how many hours does a Hacker work in 24 hours? I am thinking to get in cyber security.
At least you guys can work from home.
I 100% understand this is a business but $500 for a course you cant put on your resume because its not industry recognized is kinda wild. These are the things that deter people from the tech world. It prices out a lot of people.
Sitting in my van, drinking tea and laughing my head off. My clients must be thinking I’ve lost the plot 😂. Brilliant video. Ever considered Hollywood? 😉
My favorite Cybersecurity UA-camr.
I think I like the reality part of this video haha.
😂
@@UnixGuy your videos have been so helpful. I just am almost finished with the ISC2 CS course and will also utilize Cisco and Google just so I can learn as much as possible at a cheap price. Thanks for the info.
When I get into my first position, I'm going to keep up that perceived expectation.
👏🏻
This is entertaining! 😂
🙏🏻
I love the video 😂. Great job
Thanks 😆
Dude I lost my 100k by fraud may you help me out😢😢😭😭😭 I'm in big trouble
You are really contributing to the community, thank you so much !
🤝
I am working in SOC , how I can switch to grc
Do GRC Mastery, it will give you the skills you need to transition. Your SOC skills will help!
I notice that whenever Cybersecurity is mentioned, most people only think about blue team, WHY?
Not necessarily
I feel personally attacked!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
me too 🥲😂
😹
😆
hahaha GRC Consultant's Life Expectations - Did you steal the documents? Reality - Please send me your information security policies and procedures.
lmao pretty much
LOOOOL, YOU NAILED IT! :D
😂 too much real life i swear
loved it!! you are the best!!
Thank you 🤝
Pls make a video on, which includes topics like "Quantum Hacking.... Q - Day... AI Hackers.... Future of Cyber Security by 2030.... Scary reality of Cyber - War... 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
😅
Im glad my expectations was actually all of the reality parts 😄
lolll NO the expectations is not real 🥲
Looks like something I want to be doing haha. Given your current knowledge in cyber security is there something that you are always studying or is it mostly keeping yourself infomed of new discoveries?
I keep an eye on linkedin for the most part and industry peers :)
I love this!
🙏🏻
loved the video! but I guess the difference is black hackers ( expectations) vs white hackers ( reality ) life?
they’re both exaggerated satire :) the expectations is not real at all
Hilarious 😂
😆
This looks both fun and scary
😅
🫡
🤝
ahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahaaha <3
😆
Hahaha, I thought it would be the opposite way 😀
definitely not the opposite way 😅
😁❤️🥰
🙏🏻
This was splendid 😁

Woohoo! First one! 😁
Yes you are!
How someone completely new to IT can be a cybersecurity consultant or a trainer for cybersecurity? Any roadmap for this?
they first need to gain knoweldge and experience before they can teach something
Hey man, fellow Aussie here, I think I'll skip the google cyber cert because I have 2 years experience in cyber degree. I think I'll go straight to the hackbox courses you mentioned then onto EJPT, then my goal of OSCP. What do you reckon?
sounds like a plan!
@@UnixGuy I haven't done cyber in 2 years as I have held off my degree for now, and I'm not sure if continuing my final 2 years is worth it. Looking at most jobs they don't really require degrees. I think like you said, getting OSCP done would be better, and developing my skills
@@nlproductions9215 you can do both, one subject at a time
I just graduated highschool recently and will start college this fall and don't have the money to spend on training (yet). Already enrolled for ISC2 and have been doing review with the Cisco courses to fill in the gaps in my knowledge. Many thanks! Your videos have been very helpful.
good job 👏🏻
Amazing. Thank you so much my friend.
my pleasure 🤝
@@UnixGuy by any chance, do you know of any remote internships still accepting applications?
How about you have either. Plus I'm 53 who would hired me. Just saying..
I’ve addressed the age question in this Q and A before: ua-cam.com/video/YHDnygWvgaI/v-deo.htmlsi=0OpTmpUeroaI8vut Age isn’t usually the issue, but attitude is. Good luck.
Thank you
i'm excited from my childhood, i've did some hacks yet there's tons to do more, close to graduate from school and lunch the real journey
if hacking is what you want, then follow this: ua-cam.com/video/8K7iAJ9BNl0/v-deo.html
This is a great example for motivational reference. The market is tough. I have a background in manual QA, and I've seen a lot of good people get let go, especially this last year. I'm apparently too good at what I do so they just pile on tasks that do nothing for my own career growth or have fostered anything I've mentioned interest in; instead tack on tasks that aren't even really related to the work I should be doing because I can do it and do it well (at least that's what they say). Ironic. I've had a growing desire to pursue cybersecurity more seriously since later last year where I started taking it more seriously. Started with Google's Cybersecurity cert to get my feet wet and determine if it's what I really want, and now spending my time on some other certs, learning more scripting, and going through a tryhackme path. Security is something I'm more concerned with when I think of my own little ones future and how things will be left for her (she's only hitting 4 soon). It's a driving factor for why I study 4-6 hrs each evening/early morning. But man is it bizarre these days. If I hear anything from companies it's typically weeks after I've applied (even if I did so in person) with a polite rejection (if that), or otherwise just no response. I even have some cybersecurity related experience from a QA perspective but that doesn't seem to matter. So I hit up youtube to see how things are going for others in the world and it's videos like this that I'm finding are one of a few ways I make sure to keep myself motivated. So, Thanks UnixGuy.
Keep going my friend, you have the right attitude and the right mindset. No reason why you can’t succeed in this field 🤝
Hi. I'm from Iran and I interested in cybersecurity , Is it possible for me to receive these documents for the sanctions against my country?
I’m not sure! please follow the links in the description box and what they say on their website
Got my Sec+ yesterday. I've tried some other home projects before, but it was too much for me. Key word is "guided" projects to start with. I like the progression that you offer
you got this!
yt algo graced me with this vid thank goodness!
🙏🏻
I have done my Masters in Technology in Information Security but then took a 6 year break for family duties. Now I am ready to start my career again and grc looks so interesting to me.. Just wanted to know if I should start with this course or with some other certs or profile first. To start after such a long break is the most confusing and hardest part for me.
if you’re concerned do this one first: ua-cam.com/video/6LIUhx95MCU/v-deo.html
thankyou for this video! very informative!
this is an older video! please watch this updated version: ua-cam.com/video/C6IgksBpMF4/v-deo.html
🆒
👍
I'm an older career changer studying thru a school for my Sec+ cert. Currently working on the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certification on my own time...with the rise in malware attacks, I find myself drawn to becoming a Threat Hunter or being involved in Digital Forensics. I find that type of work fascinating....not worried about the monies or chaos or the atta-boys... Does it sound like I'm barking up the wrong tree? Thanks for the video. 👍
it doesn’t but your first priority is getting your foot in the door, you can specialise later. Do these: ua-cam.com/video/wLgkX6F3ZDA/v-deo.htmlsi=i_8F5wIfah4r_LoA
Logs! Logs everywhere
haha yep!
I have yet to see a job posting where they aren't asking for an associate, bachelor's, or a masters degree. Where are these roles that don't ask or require a degree? What are the chances of landing a job where they ask for a degree but you don't have it?
plenty! on linkedin and other sites! it depends, sometines its a hard requirement sometimes it is nice to have
I would love a template like that
its a free template that comes microsoft word
